Your project
When others look in, you look out.
Using Live Photo and the rear facing camera you can create a video diary, one second at a time. Pair this with a random Reminder to build a new world-documenting habit for life.

Is this different from a selfie daily photo project?
It can be. This page is about pointing the camera outward at the world around you, but DayReel works for both outward-facing and selfie projects.
Do I need to use Live Photos?
No. Regular photos work too. Live Photos are useful when you want a little motion in the final video.
Can I use it for travel?
Yes. Turn on Location in any project and you can choose to overlay a map of where you are in any video you create. It works well for trips, weekends away, long-term travel, hobbies, nights out, and everyday scenes.
Can I add older photos or Live Photos?
Yes. You can add media you already captured and keep building the project from there.
Can I share the final video?
Yes. Create a video from the project and share it through the apps you already use when you are ready.
One second per day projects
DayReel works as a one second per day app for rear-camera daily photos, Live Photos projects, travel videos, hobby timelines, social life videos, everyday scene projects, and private time-lapse videos. Capture the world around you, add photos or Live Photos over time, and share a short video when the project is ready.
